Quick answer
The Large Cortez in Soft with a suction cup is a substantial fantasy toy that requires proper surface prep and positioning to get the most out of its textured design. Follow the steps below for correct sizing and secure setup.
Why Soft Firmness Matters for the Large Cortez
The Large Cortez is a sizable model with prominent ridges and a tapered tip. In Soft firmness, the silicone is more pliable, which can make insertion more comfortable for those new to larger toys, but may also reduce the intensity of texture sensation. If you prefer a firmer feel or more pronounced texture, consider a Medium or Firm option instead.
Step-by-Step Setup for the Large Cortez with Suction Cup
- Step 1: Check Your Surface: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and non-porous (e.g., tile, glass, acrylic, or a smooth plastic plate). Avoid textured or painted surfaces as the suction cup may not adhere securely. Test the suction cup on a small area first to confirm a tight seal.
- Step 2: Position the Suction Cup: Press the suction cup firmly against the surface, pushing out any air bubbles. Slide the toy slightly to create a vacuum seal. A common mistake is pressing too lightly or at an angle, which leads to slipping. If the cup slips, re-wet the surface with a drop of water or silicone lubricant to improve grip.
- Step 3: Prepare the Toy: Wash the Large Cortez with warm water and mild soap before first use. Apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant to the tip and shaft. The Soft firmness can feel tacky, so reapply lube as needed. Start with the tip aligned to your body and use slow, controlled movements to adjust to the size.
- Step 4: Insert and Adjust: Gently guide the tapered tip in, then work the shaft in gradually. The ridges will provide stimulation; pause if you feel discomfort. The suction cup allows hands-free play, but you may need to reposition the toy angle for comfort. If the toy feels too large, warm it in warm water (not boiling) for a few minutes to increase pliability.
- Step 5: Clean and Store: After use, wash with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap. Dry thoroughly. Store the Large Cortez in a dust-free bag or container, away from direct sunlight and other silicone toys to prevent material interaction. Do not store with silicone-based lubricants or other silicone toys without a barrier.
