Quick Answer
If you want a hands-on building project and a festive display piece, choose the LEGO Fortune Firecracker. If you prefer a low-cost, surprise-filled blind box with Sanrio charm, the Sanrio Bath Bomb is your pick.
Price vs. Experience
The LEGO Fortune Firecracker costs USD 55.79, while the Sanrio Bath Bomb blind box is just USD 6.79. That price gap reflects very different experiences: one is a detailed building set, the other is a quick unboxing surprise.
If you're on a tight budget or just starting a collection, the blind box is an easy entry point. If you're looking for a more substantial project that results in a display piece, the LEGO set offers more value for the higher price.
Collecting Style: Complete Set vs. One-Time Build
The Sanrio Bath Bomb blind box has 10 possible figures, so collecting them all requires multiple purchases and some luck. This appeals to collectors who enjoy the thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of completing a set.
In contrast, the LEGO Fortune Firecracker is a single set that you build once. It's not a mystery—you know exactly what you're getting. This suits collectors who prefer a known outcome and a finished product they can display.
Trade-Offs to Consider
- Budget: The Sanrio Bath Bomb is a low-cost way to get a collectible, while the LEGO set is a bigger upfront investment.
- Surprise Factor: The blind box gives you a random figure from 10 possibilities; the LEGO set is predictable and builds into a known design. If you dislike duplicates, the LEGO set avoids that risk.
- Display Value: The LEGO Fortune Firecracker becomes a decorative wall art piece; the Sanrio figures are small and may be better for desk or shelf displays. Consider where you plan to show your collectible.
