Quick Answer
Liila blind boxes stand out for their detailed PVC figures and adorable plush dolls, but the real appeal lies in the chase: with a 1/12 chance for regulars and a 1/96 chance for the secret, every box is a surprise.
Myth: Liila figures are fragile and poorly made
Some collectors worry that blind box figures, especially PVC ones, are prone to breaking. However, Liila figures are made of PVC, which is known for its durability and ability to hold fine details. The Sundae Donuts series, for example, features characters about 12cm tall, a size that allows for intricate sculpting without being overly delicate.
Myth: The secret figure is nearly impossible to get
It's true that the secret figure has a low probability of 1/96, but that's part of the excitement. Many blind box enthusiasts enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and the 1/12 chance for a regular figure means you have a reasonable shot at getting your favorite character without buying dozens of boxes.
Myth: Plush dolls are always safer than PVC figures
While plush dolls might seem safer, both Liila plush and PVC figures come with important safety notes. The Lucky Cat plush dolls, for instance, require adult supervision and are not suitable for children under 15 due to small parts and potential choking hazards. So, both types need careful handling.
Verdicts on Common Liila Myths
