Quick answer
For game-day fun, pick a Great Lakes Loons minibat that matches your style; for your furry friend, the baseball dog toy offers safe play with a plush, fiber-filled design.
Why combine minibats and dog toys?
Whether you're tailgating or watching from home, these two items let you include both yourself and your pet in the team spirit. The minibats are decorative and collectible, while the dog toy is built for active play.
What to know before buying
Minibats come in four color options: natural wood with the primary logo, blue with a white GL logo, black with the home jersey wordmark, and pink. The dog toy is plush and fiber filled, suitable for fetch and light chewing. Neither is a substitute for a full-size baseball bat or a heavy-duty chew toy.
How to choose and use your Loons fan gear for you and your pet
- 1. Pick your minibat style: Choose from the four color options based on your preference. The natural wood version is great for a classic look, while the blue or black options are bolder. Pink adds a unique twist. Make sure the minibat is not used as a chew toy—it's a decorative collectible, not a dog toy.
- 2. Check the dog toy for safety: Before giving the baseball dog toy to your pet, inspect the seams and any attached tags. The plush fiber fill is designed for gentle play, not aggressive chewing. Supervise the first few play sessions to ensure your dog doesn't try to remove the filling.
- 3. Use both items together for game-day fun: Display the minibat on a shelf or use it as a photo prop, while the dog toy can be used for fetch during commercial breaks. Both are great conversation starters. Rotate the dog toy with other toys to keep your pet interested and extend its life.
