Quick answer
Choose the Dolphin Bay set for ocean-themed storytelling, the Forest set for woodland animal play, or the Castle set for fantasy adventures with a working drawbridge.
What makes each theme set different?
Each MAGNA-TILES animal set focuses on a unique environment and play style. The Dolphin Bay 13 Piece Set is the smallest and most affordable, perfect for travel or a first themed set. The Forest 25 Piece Set offers more pieces and four animal figures for richer storytelling. The Castle 25 Piece Set includes interactive features like a working drawbridge and glitter tiles, ideal for imaginative fairy-tale play.
Piece count and value considerations
Piece count directly affects the complexity of builds. The Dolphin Bay set (13 pieces) is compact and easy to store, but limits the size of structures. The Forest and Castle sets (25 pieces each) allow for larger scenes and more detailed play. All sets are compatible with other MAGNA-TILES, so you can expand over time.
How to choose the right set
- For ocean lovers and young builders: Pick the Dolphin Bay 13 Piece Set if your child is 3-5 years old, loves dolphins and the sea, and you want a compact set for travel or a first theme set.
- For woodland adventure and group play: Choose the Forest 25 Piece Set if your child enjoys animals like deer, bear, and fox, and you want more pieces for collaborative storytelling.
- For fantasy and interactive features: Select the Castle 25 Piece Set if your child loves knights, dragons, and fairy tales. The working drawbridge and glitter tiles add a magical, hands-on element. The Castle set includes interactive parts not found in the other two, so it's best for kids who enjoy mechanical features.
