Quick Answer
If you want a screen-accurate, accessory-packed horror icon, choose the Maniac Cop 2 figure. If you prefer a budget-friendly, officially licensed horror villain with a simpler display, the Candy Corn Jacob Atkins figure is your pick.
What Makes Each Figure Stand Out
Both figures belong to the Scream Greats Series, which celebrates iconic characters from cinematic horror. Each is sculpted in 8-inch scale, making them easy to pose alongside other collectibles. However, their price points and included extras create different value propositions.
The Maniac Cop 2 figure leans into action and detail, with multiple alternate head sculpts and a nightstick with a removable blade. That makes it a natural centerpiece for a horror display or a conversation starter. The Candy Corn figure, meanwhile, offers a more straightforward representation of Jacob Atkins, a character from the cult film Candy Corn, at a lower entry price.
Trade-Offs at a Glance
- Accessories & Versatility: Maniac Cop 2 includes multiple head sculpts and weapons for dynamic posing; Candy Corn Jacob Atkins comes with fewer extras, so you get a simpler display. If you love swapping accessories, Maniac Cop 2 offers more play value.
- Price & Value: Candy Corn Jacob Atkins is priced lower, making it a budget-friendly way to own an officially licensed Scream Greats figure; Maniac Cop 2 costs more but includes more pieces. Weigh the extra accessories against the higher price before deciding.
- Character Recognition: Maniac Cop is a well-known horror franchise character, while Jacob Atkins from Candy Corn appeals to fans of that specific film. Choose the character that means more to your personal horror taste.
