Quick Answer

If you want a playful, budget-friendly shelf piece tied to a family movie, choose Funko Pop! Mega Minion Dave. If you prefer a more intense, dinosaur-inspired figure with a slightly higher price, go with Funko Pop! Alpha Raptor.

Price vs. Display Appeal

Both figures are priced below their catalog comparison prices, making them accessible for collectors on a budget. Mega Minion Dave costs $12.99, while Alpha Raptor is $13.99—a one-dollar difference that likely won't sway most buyers.

What matters more is the visual impact. Mega Minion Dave brings the cheerful, chaotic energy of Despicable Me 4, perfect for brightening a shelf. Alpha Raptor, with its Jurassic Park lineage, offers a more serious, action-oriented display that stands out among movie-themed collections.

Collector Appeal: Movie Fans vs. Dinosaur Enthusiasts

Both figures are described as collector-friendly and display-ready, but they attract different audiences. Mega Minion Dave connects with Despicable Me 4 fans, Funko collectors, and gift buyers—especially those shopping for children or casual fans of the franchise.

Alpha Raptor is built for Jurassic Park fans, movie collectors, and anyone who loves character-focused figures. If your collection leans toward action or sci-fi, the raptor's edge may feel more at home.
