Quick answer
The MG HWS Expansion Set adds a heavy weapon system to your Hi Nu Gundam Ver. Ka, including new chest, front armor, leg, and thruster units with deployment gimmicks.
What this expansion does not include
The set does not include the base MG 1/100 Hi-Nu Gundam Ver. Ka kit—you need to own that separately. It also does not add new weapons like a beam rifle or shield; the focus is on armor and thruster upgrades.
Frequently asked questions
What parts are in the MG HWS Expansion Set?
It includes a chest armor unit, front armor armor unit, leg armchair and thruster unit, and a shoulder missile launcher. Each unit has a deployment gimmick that shows internal mechanical detail.
Do I need the base Hi Nu Gundam Ver. Ka kit?
Yes. This expansion is designed specifically for the MG 1/100 Hi-Nu Gundam Ver. Ka (sold separately). It will not fit other versions of the Hi Nu or Nu Gundam. Confirm you have the Ver. Ka base kit before ordering.
How does the HWS set change the look of the Hi Nu?
It adds bulkier armor panels and additional thrusters, giving the suit a heavier, more imposing silhouette. The deployment gimmicks let you expose inner frame details on the chest and legs.
Is the HWS set a Premium Bandai exclusive?
Yes, this is a Premium Bandai exclusive item. That means it is produced in limited quantities and typically sold through official P-Bandai channels or specialty retailers like Cool Dragon Hobby. Availability is limited; consider pre-ordering if interested.
