Quick answer
Choose the Mi Scusi! Essentials Bundle for a fun, affordable intro to this Italian party game. Go with the Familia Bundle if you host large gatherings and want every expansion ready to play.
What each bundle includes
The Essentials Bundle contains the Mi Scusi! Base set plus three expansions. It’s a compact, lower-cost way to try the game. The Familia Bundle, on the other hand, comes with two Base sets and all nine expansions, giving you a massive collection for big parties.
Both versions stay true to the game’s roots: written by Italian comedians for people from Italian families. The key difference is scale and price.
Cost per player trade-off
At USD 33.30 (down from USD 45.00), the Essentials Bundle is easy to recommend for a single group or a starter set. The Familia Bundle is priced at USD 125.99 (down from USD 179.99). That’s a bigger upfront cost, but with two Base sets you can split into multiple simultaneous games—something no other bundle offers.
If your group struggles to share a single deck, the Familia Bundle solves that. For casual play, Essentials is all you need.
Which bundle to buy?
- Essentials for small groups: If you usually play with 4–8 people and want a complete but affordable set, pick the Essentials Bundle at USD 33.30.
- Familia for big parties: If you regularly host games for 12+ people or want every expansion without compromise, the Familia Bundle at USD 125.99 is the better value per head.
- Upgrade path: Start with Essentials. If your group outgrows it, you can expand later—or gift the Essentials to a friend and jump to Familia. Check expansion availability before committing to a long-term plan.
