Quick Answer

The Mighty Steeds Basic Horse is a versatile 1:18 scale figure with 32 points of articulation and modular construction, making it ideal for dynamic posing and customization with your Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. figures.

Why Modular Construction Matters for Play

The Basic Horse's modular design lets you swap parts easily, which is great for customizing your display or creating new looks for different scenes. This feature also makes repairs simpler if a piece gets damaged during play.

Posing Tips for Dynamic Scenes

With 32 points of articulation, you can achieve natural horse poses like rearing, trotting, or grazing. The included display stand helps keep the figure stable during action shots or shelf displays. For best results, start with the legs in a wide stance for a grounded look.

Accessorizing Your Horse

While the Basic Horse comes fully painted and with a display stand, you can enhance play by adding gear from other 1:18 scale sets. Look for saddles, bridles, or armor that fit the horse's proportions. The modular construction means you can attach accessories without damaging the figure.

Diagnosis: Getting the Most from Your Mighty Steeds Horse

  • Symptom: The horse feels stiff or doesn't hold poses well. Check that all joints are fully seated; sometimes a joint may be slightly misaligned from the factory.
  • Likely Cause: New figures often have tight joints due to paint or molding residue. This is normal and usually loosens with gentle movement. Work the joints slowly back and forth a few times to break them in.
  • Corrective Action: If a joint remains stuck, apply a tiny drop of silicone lubricant (not oil-based) to the joint and move it gently. Avoid forcing it. If the joint still won't move after lubricating, contact customer support for a replacement.
  • Stop or Choose Another Option: If you need a horse with pre-attached armor or fantasy features, consider the Mighty Steeds Creature Kits instead. The Basic Horse is best for collectors who want a blank canvas.
