Quick Answer
If you missed the Kickstarter or want a distinct Moxxi model for your Borderlands tabletop games, the Mister Torgue Arena of Badassery Moxxi miniature is a worthwhile pickup at its current price.
Why This Miniature Stands Out
Moxxi is a fan-favorite character from the Borderlands series, and this miniature captures her signature look from the Mister Torgue Arena of Badassery line. The sculpt includes the iconic outfit and pose that fans will recognize immediately.
This isn't a generic stand-in; it's an officially licensed piece from the Kickstarter campaign, so the detail and accuracy are a step above third-party alternatives.
The Kickstarter Context
The Mister Torgue Arena of Badassery Kickstarter brought a wave of Borderlands miniatures to tabletop gamers. If you missed the campaign or want extra pieces, leftover stock like this Moxxi miniature is a rare second chance. It's not a reprint—it's original overstock from the campaign.
Trade-Offs to Consider
This miniature is a single character, not a squad or terrain piece. If you're looking for a full warband or objective markers, you'll need to buy additional kits. Also, because it's leftover Kickstarter stock, availability is limited and may not be replenished.
Decision Rules
- Do you already have other Mister Torgue Arena miniatures?: If yes, Moxxi makes a great narrative addition or a unique character model for skirmish games. If no, she works as a standalone centerpiece but you may want to check the rest of the line for cohesion.
- Do you play Borderlands tabletop games or use miniatures for RPGs?: Moxxi fits both. She's a recognizable character that adds flavor to any Borderlands-themed session or skirmish.
- Is this your first Borderlands miniature?: It's a solid start, but consider pairing it with a core set or terrain to have a playable setup. Moxxi alone won't give you a full game experience. Check the Monster Fight Club store for other Arena of Badassery items to build a complete tabletop.
