Quick Answer
The Nendoroid Polyester figure captures the character's expressive personality with three face plates and the iconic Ester Gun, making it a solid choice for fans of the series who enjoy swapping parts for dynamic poses.
What's in the Box
The Nendoroid Polyester figure comes with three face plates: a confident face, a mocking face, and a crying face. These let you switch between her cocky, teasing, and vulnerable moments from the anime.
Optional parts include the Ester Gun and other pieces for different poses. The set is designed for easy part swapping, though some small accessories may require careful handling.
Posing and Articulation
Like most Nendoroids, Polyester features multiple points of articulation in the neck, shoulders, and legs. The joints are sturdy enough to hold standard poses but may feel tight when adjusting the arms for two-handed weapon grips.
The included stand helps balance dynamic poses, especially when using the Ester Gun. If you encounter stiff joints, a gentle wiggle while applying light pressure usually works without risking breakage.
Common Unboxing Issues and Fixes
- Symptom: A face plate is difficult to remove or install.
- Likely Cause: The peg may be slightly too tight or the plate is pressed in at an angle.
- Corrective Action: Gently rock the plate side to side while pulling outward. Avoid twisting the hair piece. If still stuck, use a plastic spudger or your thumbnail to create a gap. If the plate does not come off after gentle effort, stop and check for debris or misalignment before applying more force.
- When to Stop or Choose Another Option: If the peg appears warped or the plate has visible stress marks, do not force it. Contact Good Smile US support for a replacement rather than risking breakage. A damaged peg is not user-serviceable; request a replacement part.
