Quick Answer
The NEO S Bruno Mars 5-Fret Fortnite Festival Edition is a limited-run rhythm controller for PC, Switch, and cloud gaming, featuring exclusive Bruno Mars artwork and a detachable 5-fret attachment for Fortnite Festival and similar games.
What Makes This Edition Special?
The Bruno Mars edition stands out with custom artwork inspired by the artist's style, plus a detachable 5-fret attachment that transforms the standard NEO S pad into a dedicated rhythm-game controller. It works wirelessly or wired on PC, Nintendo Switch, and cloud gaming platforms, making it versatile for both traditional play and festival modes.
Who Is This Controller For?
This controller is ideal for Fortnite Festival players who want a dedicated 5-fret layout without switching to a full guitar peripheral. It also appeals to Bruno Mars fans and collectors of CRKD limited editions. However, if you primarily play shooters or racing games, the standard NEO S without the fret attachment may be more practical for daily use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which platforms does it support?
It works with PC, Nintendo Switch, and cloud gaming services. Use it wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired with the included USB-C cable. Check your platform's Bluetooth compatibility before purchase.
How do I attach the 5-fret module?
Slide the detachable 5-fret attachment into the slot on the controller body until it clicks. To remove, press the release button on the back and pull gently. Store the attachment separately when not in use to avoid wear.
Can I use it without the 5-fret attachment?
Yes. The controller functions as a standard NEO S gamepad when the attachment is removed. Use it for any game that supports a standard controller layout.
Does it work with Fortnite Festival on all platforms?
Yes, the 5-fret layout is designed specifically for Fortnite Festival and similar rhythm games. On Switch, connect wirelessly or wired; on PC, use wired mode for lowest latency. For competitive play, a wired connection reduces input lag.
Is the artwork durable?
The exclusive Bruno Mars artwork is printed on the controller shell. Handle with care to avoid scratches; a protective case is recommended for transport. Consider a clear silicone cover to preserve the design.
