Quick answer

Sort your Elestrals cards by element and rarity, then store them in a deck box with double-sleeving for maximum protection and quick deck access.

Why a deck box beats a loose pile

A deck box keeps your cards flat, protected from spills and bending. The magnetic flap and soft microfiber suede interior prevent scratches, while the compact size fits in a bag for travel.

Steps to organize your Elestrals deck box

  1. Sort by element and rarity: Group cards by their element (Thunder, Earth, Solar) and then by rarity within each group. This makes it easier to find specific cards during deck building. Common mistake: mixing all cards randomly – you'll waste time searching.
  2. Double-sleeve valuable cards: Place rare or foil cards in a perfect-fit sleeve first, then into a standard sleeve. This prevents dust and edge wear. Checkpoint: the deck box holds up to 80 double-sleeved cards, so plan accordingly.
  3. Load cards upright, not stacked: Insert sleeved cards vertically into the box, facing the same direction. This prevents bending and makes browsing easy. Common mistake: stacking cards flat – they can warp under pressure.
  4. Use dividers for multiple decks: If you carry more than one deck, add a thin cardboard or plastic divider between groups. The box has no built-in dividers, so DIY is needed. Checkpoint: without dividers, cards may shift during transport.
  5. Close and store securely: Press the magnetic flap firmly shut. Store the box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Common mistake: leaving it open or in a hot car – heat can warp cards.
