Quick answer
For a budget-friendly, take-home gift that guests can use daily, go with the Poké Ball keychain. If you want a show-stopping cake display and ready-made decorations, the cake topper set wins.
Size and portability trade-off
The keychain is compact—about 6.1 cm across—and comes with a wrist strap, making it easy to clip onto bags or keys. The cake topper set includes six figures and multiple picks, which are larger and not designed for carrying around. If your party favors need to fit into goody bags or be pocket-sized, the keychain is the practical choice.
Decoration vs. lasting keepsake
The cake topper set is a complete decoration kit: it adds instant Pokémon flair to your cake and leaves you with collectible figures afterward. The keychain, however, becomes a daily accessory—a reminder of the party that lasts beyond the dessert. Decide whether your priority is a memorable cake presentation or a favor that keeps giving.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Cake topper set: Best for a ready-made cake decoration and a set of collectible figures. The 13 pieces cover your cake top and add festive picks around it. You get a complete decoration kit, but the figures are not designed for daily carry.
- Poké Ball keychain: Best as a take-home favor that guests can use immediately. Choose from Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, or Eevee designs. It’s a practical, portable gift, but it won’t decorate your cake.
- Budget comparison: The cake topper set costs USD 15.18 (was USD 24.49). The keychain costs USD 11.24 (was USD 14.99). For multiple guests, buying several keychains may cost less than one topper set per cake.
