Quick answer
Preorder the Saint Seiya Myth Cloth EX Libra Shiryu if you want a premium gold cloth figure from Bandai Spirits. It suits dedicated collectors who value authenticity and detailed craftsmanship.
Why preorder instead of waiting
Preordering secures availability for limited-run figures like the Myth Cloth EX Libra Shiryu. After release, prices often rise on the secondary market, and stock may sell out quickly.
Buying directly from a reputable store like Figure Start - Heigenya Online ensures you receive an authentic Bandai Spirits item shipped from Japan. Avoid the risk of counterfeit or inflated aftermarket prices.
Trade-offs to consider
Preordering means committing months in advance. You pay now, but the figure ships later. If your collection focus changes, you cannot cancel easily.
The catalog price is USD 205.19 (compared to USD 289.00), so you save money by preordering. However, the exact final paint and packaging are not visible until release.
Decision rules for preordering
- Check your collection gap: Do you already own other Myth Cloth EX gold saints (e.g., Gemini Saga, Ophiuchus Odysseus)? If yes, Libra Shiryu completes the gold cloth set. If you only collect bronze cloths, this figure may feel out of place.
- Budget for the full price: The preorder price is USD 205.19. Confirm this fits your current budget. If you prefer spending under USD 100, look for smaller scale figures or keychains instead.
- Confirm shipping and release timeline: Preorder items ship months after the order date. Check the estimated release window on the product page. If you need the figure for a specific event or gift, preordering may not suit your timeline.
