Quick answer
The official Rain World Prince Plush from Sanshee is a well-made collector's item for fans, but its 14+ age rating and display needs mean it's not a toy for young children.
Why the age rating matters
The Prince Plush is labeled for ages 14 and up, which is common for officially licensed gaming merchandise. This isn't a safety flaw; it means the plush uses finer details and materials that might not withstand rough play. For adult collectors, this ensures a higher-quality display piece.
Display considerations
The product description notes the Prince needs a cool, dark place, hinting at potential material sensitivity to light or heat. This is a trade-off for its authentic game-accurate look. Plan to keep it on a shelf away from direct sunlight to preserve its colors and fabric.
Decision rules for buying the Prince Plush
- Are you a Rain World fan?: If you love the game's aesthetic and characters, this is a must-have display piece.
- Is it for a child?: The 14+ age rating means it's not suitable for young children. Look for a toy-grade plush instead.
- Do you have a display spot?: The plush needs a cool, dark place to prevent damage. Ensure you have a shelf away from direct sunlight. Consider a UV-protected display case for long-term preservation.
