Quick Answer
The PETKIT Refill Ring is a small accessory that keeps your litter box cleaning system secure and efficient. Replace it when it no longer fits snugly or shows visible wear, typically every 6–12 months depending on use.
Why the Refill Ring Matters
The Refill Ring is engineered specifically for PETKIT CLEAN products, so it's not a generic part. Its secure, snug fit ensures a reliable connection between components, which helps prevent leaks or misalignment during cleaning.
A worn or loose ring can compromise the seal, leading to messes or reduced efficiency. Because it's a small part, it's easy to overlook—but checking it regularly saves you from bigger cleanup headaches.
Signs It's Time to Replace
Look for visible cracks, deformation, or a ring that no longer stays in place. If you notice litter or moisture escaping around the connection point, that's a clear sign the ring isn't doing its job.
How often you replace it depends on how frequently you use the litter box and how roughly it's handled. A good rule of thumb is to inspect it every few months and replace it at the first sign of wear.
Refill Ring FAQ
What does the Refill Ring do?
It creates a secure connection between parts of your PETKIT CLEAN system, keeping the seal tight and preventing litter or moisture from escaping.
How do I know when to replace it?
Check for cracks, deformation, or a loose fit. If the ring no longer sits snugly or you see leaks around the connection, replace it promptly. Inspect the ring every few months as part of your routine maintenance.
How often should I replace it?
There's no fixed interval, but typical use may require replacement every 6–12 months. More frequent use or rough handling can shorten its lifespan. Keep a spare Refill Ring on hand so you're never caught without a secure seal.
