Quick answer

Before renting the BOITE T30 / TONNEAU 63A MARECHAL, check its 63A rating, Marechal connector type, and physical integrity. This ensures it matches your power distribution needs and avoids on-set failures.

Why a pre-rental check matters

A distribution box like the BOITE T30 / TONNEAU 63A MARECHAL handles high current. A damaged connector or incorrect rating can cause equipment failure or safety hazards. A quick inspection saves time and money.

This rental item is listed under Matphoto's ELEC category, so it's designed for professional electrical setups. But every rental unit may show wear from previous jobs.

What the 63A rating means for your setup

The 63A rating indicates the maximum continuous current the box can handle. If your total load exceeds this, you risk tripping breakers or damaging the unit. Plan your power budget before renting.

The Marechal connector is a robust, industrial-grade plug known for reliable high-current connections. Verify that your existing cables and distribution gear use the same connector type.

Rental inspection checklist

  • Symptom: The box has visible cracks, bent pins, or missing covers. Do not rent a physically damaged unit; request a replacement.
  • Likely cause: Rough handling during transport or previous use. Inspect the enclosure and connectors before accepting the rental.
  • Corrective action: Ask Matphoto to swap the unit or provide a different box of the same rating. Always test the connector fit with your cables before leaving the rental counter.
  • Stop / choose another option: If the 63A rating is insufficient for your total load, or if your gear uses a different connector type, do not proceed. Look for a higher-rated box or an adapter.
