Quick answer
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Samsung Galaxy Case is a solid choice if you want a slim, official case with exclusive anime artwork, but its drop protection is average and it won't fit non-Samsung devices.
What makes this case different
This case is part of the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 collection, featuring new character artwork from the standalone anime series. It's a direct tie-in, so you're getting official CD PROJEKT RED design rather than a generic print.
The case is made for Samsung Galaxy phones, with exact cutouts for buttons, ports, and cameras. It's not a universal fit, so you need to pick the correct model variant when ordering.
Trade-offs to consider
Because it's a slim hard case, it won't absorb shock as well as thicker rubber or dual-layer cases. If you drop your phone often, you might want to pair it with a screen protector and consider a more rugged option for high-risk days.
The artwork is printed on the back, so over time it may show wear from scratches or oils. Keeping it clean and avoiding rough surfaces helps preserve the design.
Decision rules for the Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 Samsung Case
- Check your phone model: This case is designed for specific Samsung Galaxy models. Before buying, confirm that your exact phone model (e.g., Galaxy S24, S23, etc.) is listed in the size options. If it's not, the case won't fit.
- Evaluate your drop risk: If you frequently drop your phone or work in rugged conditions, this slim case offers basic scratch and bump protection but not military-grade drop protection. Consider a thicker case for everyday rough use. Pair with a tempered glass screen protector for better overall protection.
- Decide on artwork longevity: The printed artwork is vibrant but can fade or scratch over time if exposed to keys, coins, or abrasive surfaces. If you want the design to stay pristine, handle the case carefully or use a clear skin over it. Rotate usage with another case to extend the artwork's life.
