Quick answer
Sanrio Cozy Room Slippers have a fixed wearable length of about 9.8 inches (25 cm), so check your foot length before buying and follow gentle machine or hand washing to keep them fluffy.
Why sizing matters for these slippers
Unlike adjustable house shoes, the Sanrio Cozy Room Slippers come in a single size with a fixed footbed. The wearable area measures about 9.8 inches (25 cm), which typically fits US women’s shoe sizes 6–8. If your foot is longer or you prefer extra room, these might feel snug. Measure your foot from heel to longest toe and compare it to 25 cm before ordering.
How to size and care for your Sanrio Cozy Room Slippers
- Measure your foot before buying: Stand on a piece of paper, trace your foot, and measure from heel to longest toe. Compare that length to the slipper’s 9.8-inch (25 cm) footbed. If your foot is longer than 25 cm, these slippers will likely feel too short. Aim for at least 0.5 cm of wiggle room; if your foot is exactly 25 cm, expect a snug fit with no extra space.
- Spot clean first: For small dirt or stains, dab the spot with a damp cloth and a tiny drop of mild detergent. Rub gently in one direction to avoid matting the fluffy material. Rinse the cloth and dab again to remove soap residue. Never scrub vigorously; it can flatten the plush fibers permanently.
- Machine wash on delicate (if needed): Place the slippers in a mesh laundry bag and wash on a cold, delicate cycle with mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener, as they can damage the fuzzy texture and the printed character design. Wash with similar soft items (like other plush accessories) to reduce friction inside the machine.
- Air dry away from heat: After washing, reshape the slippers gently while damp. Lay them flat on a towel in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, radiators, or a dryer. Heat can shrink the fabric and ruin the fluffy finish. Drying can take 24–48 hours. Fluff the material lightly with your fingers once dry to restore softness.
