Quick answer
Yes, the Skullcandy Sesh ANC Active is a strong choice for outdoor workouts if you need adjustable noise cancelling, a secure fit, and full waterproofing at a budget-friendly price.
Why noise cancelling matters for outdoor exercise
Adjustable Active Noise Canceling (ANC) lets you tune out gym chatter or traffic rumble without losing total awareness. The Sesh ANC Active uses four microphones to let you dial in the right level of isolation for your environment, which is useful whether you're lifting weights or running on a bike path.
Waterproofing and fit for active use
Outdoor workouts expose earbuds to sweat, rain, and sudden movements. The Sesh ANC Active is fully waterproof, so you don't have to worry about moisture damage. Its Fit Grip design helps keep the earbuds comfortably in place during high-impact activities like sprints or burpees.
Battery life and trade-offs
All-day battery life means you can wear these earbuds from your morning run through your workday without recharging. However, the Sesh ANC Active does not specify a quick-charge feature or wireless charging, so you may need to plan charging sessions around your routine.
How to decide if the Sesh ANC Active is right for you
- Prioritize waterproofing: If your outdoor workouts happen in all weather, the fully waterproof design is a key advantage over many competitors that are only sweat-resistant.
- Need adjustable ANC: Choose the Sesh ANC Active if you want to control how much outside noise you let in. This is especially helpful for running near traffic or staying aware in a busy gym.
- Budget-friendly price: At a catalog comparison price of $94.99 and a current price of $69.34, these earbuds offer ANC and waterproofing at a lower cost than many premium models. If you want noise cancelling without spending over $100, this is a solid pick.
