Quick answer

Choose Super Saiyan God Goku (God Aura) for a classic red-haired look with the Dynamic-Movable Shoulder System, or Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku (Blue Power) for the iconic blue aura form with enhanced articulation. Both offer new sculpts and proportions at similar price points.

Sculpt and proportions

Both figures use an all-new sculpt that pays meticulous attention to proportions, facial expressions, and fine details. The Super Saiyan God Goku captures the lean, godly build of the red-haired form, while the Blue Power version reflects the more muscular silhouette of Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. Neither figure reuses older molds, so each feels distinct in hand.

Articulation differences

The Super Saiyan God Goku incorporates the Dynamic-Movable Shoulder System, which allows for more natural arm movement during dynamic poses. The Blue Power figure adopts newly engineered articulation developed for the S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball series, though the exact shoulder mechanism is not specified. Both figures should offer excellent posing range, but the shoulder system on the God Aura version is a known advantage for wide arm stances.

Price and value

Both figures are priced similarly: Super Saiyan God Goku at USD 25.45 (catalog comparison price USD 37.99) and Blue Power at USD 26.21 (catalog comparison price USD 37.99). The small price difference reflects the variation in accessories or paint, but neither is significantly more expensive. For collectors on a budget, either figure offers strong value for a new-sculpt S.H.Figuarts.

Trade-offs at a glance

  • Sculpt accuracy: Super Saiyan God Goku: lean godly build with red hair. Blue Power: more muscular build with blue hair. Both are new sculpts, so pick the form you prefer.
  • Articulation: God Aura version has the Dynamic-Movable Shoulder System for wide arm poses. Blue Power uses newer general Dragon Ball articulation—shoulder system not confirmed. If wide arm stances are critical, the God Aura version has a proven advantage.
  • Price difference: Blue Power is USD 0.76 more than God Aura. Both are under USD 27 and offer strong value for a new-sculpt figure. Price alone shouldn't drive your decision—both are affordable.
