Quick answer
The S.H. Figuarts Toji Fushiguro figure delivers impressive articulation and screen-accurate accessories, making it a strong pick for Jujutsu Kaisen fans who value dynamic posing.
Articulation and posing potential
S.H. Figuarts figures are known for their engineering, and Toji Fushiguro is no exception. The figure uses a carefully crafted movable structure to recreate his overwhelmingly dynamic character from the series. A standout feature is the 'snoring hair parts'—these allow the hair to shift naturally during battle poses, adding a layer of realism that static hair can't match.
The articulation is designed to support wide stances and action poses without looking stiff. However, like many import figures, the joints are precise but can feel delicate. If you plan to frequently repose the figure, take care when moving the limbs to avoid stress on the joints.
Accessories and display options
Toji comes with his signature Inventory Spirit, a cursed spirit that wraps around his body during combat. Bandai has adjusted the spirit so it's easy to wrap around the figure, which is a thoughtful design choice—many similar accessories can be frustrating to attach. The spirit adds a dramatic flair to displays, especially when paired with dynamic poses.
One trade-off: the figure is a pre-order with an estimated release of April 2027, so you'll need patience. The catalog price is $68.99 (compared to $99.99), making it a solid value for an import figure with this level of detail.
Box condition upgrade option
Toy Dojo offers a Box Condition Upgrade option for this figure. If you're an in-box collector or plan to resell later, this upgrade ensures the packaging arrives in pristine condition. For those who open and display their figures, the standard box is usually sufficient.
Decision rules for Toji Fushiguro
- Articulation priority: If dynamic, wide-ranging poses are your main goal, the S.H. Figuarts Toji delivers with its joint engineering and movable hair parts. It's ideal for action dioramas.
- Accessory completeness: The Inventory Spirit is the key accessory. If you want a figure that includes a signature prop without needing to buy extra parts, this set covers you. No other accessories are confirmed yet—if you need multiple weapons or effect parts, consider other figures.
- Pre-order patience: With an estimated release of April 2027, this is a long-term investment. If you need a Jujutsu Kaisen figure immediately, look for already-released characters like Yuji or Gojo. Pre-ordering now locks in the $68.99 price, which is a discount from the $99.99 comparison price.
