Quick answer
Coops & Hutches UK can ship chicken coops to the Scottish Highlands and certain parts of Scotland through a special administrative shipping option, but you may need to account for additional fees and longer delivery windows.
What is the Scottish Highlands coverage area?
The shipping service specifically covers the Highlands and designated areas of Scotland. If you live in a remote part of the Highlands or on an island, double-check with customer support to see if your exact postcode qualifies. Some very remote locations may have limited delivery options.
How does this affect delivery time?
Because of the remote nature of the Highlands, delivery can take longer than standard mainland orders. Expect a few extra days compared to shipping to central or southern UK addresses. The service is integrated with Coops & Hutches UK's order processing, so tracking will be available.
Frequently asked questions
Can I order any chicken coop to the Highlands?
Most coops available on Coops & Hutches UK can be shipped via this service, but check the product page for any specific exclusions. If in doubt, contact support before ordering.
What is the shipping cost?
The Coops Shipping Highlands service has a listed price of USD 14.39 (catalog comparison price USD 19.99). This is an additional fee on top of your order total. Prices may vary by coop size and weight. Always review the final shipping cost at checkout before completing your purchase.
Will my coop be delivered to my front door?
Yes, the service ensures reliable delivery to your address, including remote locations. However, due to the size of chicken coops, the driver may deliver to a kerbside or driveway rather than a specific doorstep. Plan to have help available to move the coop from the delivery point.
Can I track the delivery?
Yes, the shipping is integrated with Coops & Hutches UK's order processing, so you'll receive tracking information once the order is dispatched. This helps you plan for delivery day.
