Installation steps
- Choose the mounting location: Select a spot on your cockpit's aluminum profile that allows easy reach while driving. Avoid locations that interfere with your legs, shifter, or monitor arm. Check that the cup holder won't block your movement or other accessories.
- Insert the T-slot nut: Slide the T-slot nut into the profile channel at your chosen location. Ensure it's oriented correctly so the threads face outward. If the nut doesn't slide easily, check that the channel is clean and free of debris.
- Attach the cup holder: Align the cup holder's mounting bracket with the T-slot nut, then thread the bolt through the bracket and into the nut. Tighten it securely by hand or with a hex key, but don't overtighten—the plastic bracket can crack if forced. Stop tightening as soon as the bracket feels snug against the profile.
- Test stability and position: Place a drink in the holder and give it a gentle shake. If the holder wobbles, tighten the bolt slightly. Adjust the angle or height if needed before fully securing. A loose mount can spill your drink during hard braking or cornering.
