Quick Answer

The Spearhead City of Ash Gaming Pack includes a 24-page softback Spearhead rulebook and a double-sided game board with printed objectives, designed to get you playing Spearhead games quickly. It's a focused starter bundle for Cities of Sigmar and Skaven players, not a full army box.

What This Pack Doesn't Include

The pack focuses on rules and the game board—it doesn't contain any miniatures. If you're looking for models to use with the included Spearhead rules, you'll need to buy them separately. This makes it a great addition if you already own Spearhead forces or plan to buy them alongside.

Also note that the board is designed specifically for Spearhead games (762mm across), so it won't replace a full Warhammer Age of Sigmar battlefield. For larger games, you'd still need a standard 4'x4' or 6'x4' surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Spearhead City of Ash Gaming Pack a full game?

No, it's a rules and board bundle. It includes the Spearhead rulebook and a double-sided game board, but you still need miniatures and dice to play. It's designed to complement your existing Spearhead collection. Check if you already have Spearhead miniatures before buying.

What armies does the included book cover?

The book includes rules for two Spearheads: Cities of Sigmar: Sentinels of Embergard and Skaven: Crixxit's Kill-Pack. If you play either faction, this pack gives you their full Spearhead rules in one place. If you play neither faction, the rules may be less useful to you.

How big is the game board?

The double-sided board measures 762mm by 762mm, which is the standard size for Spearhead games. Each side has 5 printed objectives, so you can vary your setup. Measure your table space to ensure it fits the 762mm board.

Does the pack include a campaign?

Yes, the included book features a mini campaign alongside the core Spearhead rules. This gives you a structured way to play multiple linked games, adding narrative depth right out of the box. Plan a campaign night with a friend to get the most value.

Can I use this pack with older Spearhead editions?

The book contains the current Spearhead rules as of the pack's release. If you're using older editions, you'll need to check compatibility; the pack is designed for the current Age of Sigmar Spearhead format. Verify your rulebook edition matches the pack's rules.
