Quick answer
If you want a complete expansion with new adversaries and events, choose Feather and Flame. If you only need two extra spirits and already own the base game, Spirit Promo Pack 1 is the budget-friendly pick.
Core content differences
Feather and Flame is a full expansion that includes two spirits, new adversaries, and event cards. It introduces a unique adversary and adds fire and flood themes to the game. Spirit Promo Pack 1 is a smaller pack that only contains two spirits and their innate power cards, with no additional scenarios or adversaries.
If you already own the Feather and Flame expansion, note that Spirit Promo Pack 1's spirits are also included in Feather and Flame. Buying both would duplicate those spirits.
Price and value
Feather and Flame is priced at $22.72 (catalog comparison price $34.95), offering more content per dollar if you want adversaries and events. Spirit Promo Pack 1 costs $11.25 (catalog comparison price $15.00) and is cheaper if you only want the two spirits.
For players on a tight budget who already have the base game and want to add variety, Promo Pack 1 is a low-cost way to get new spirits. For those seeking a richer experience with new mechanics, Feather and Flame provides more value despite the higher price.
