Quick answer
The Budget Bundle is the better choice for everyday cloth diapering on a budget, while the Splash Pack is designed specifically for swim use. Your decision depends on whether you need absorbent all-day diapers or reusable swimwear.
Budget Bundle
Key differences at a glance
The Budget Bundle pairs a Duo Wrap cover with three Duo Hemp Prefolds, offering a trim, absorbent solution for daily diapering. The Splash Pack includes two swim diapers and a wet/dry bag, designed for pool or beach outings. Neither package overlaps in function, so your choice is clear based on your primary need.
Cost and value considerations
The Budget Bundle (Size One) costs $29.33 (retail $46.55), providing three diaper changes per day. The Splash Pack costs $38.33 (retail $52.50) and includes two swim diapers plus a bag. For everyday diapering, the Budget Bundle offers more changes per dollar. For occasional swim use, the Splash Pack is a complete, ready-to-go set.
Trade-offs to consider
- Absorbency vs. swim use: Budget Bundle uses hemp prefolds for high absorbency, suitable for all-day wear. Splash Pack swim diapers are designed to contain solids, not absorb liquid, so they are not for regular diapering.
- Number of changes per package: Budget Bundle provides three full diaper changes. Splash Pack includes two swim diapers, which you can rotate during a day at the water.
- Accessories included: Splash Pack includes a wet/dry bag, adding value for swim outings. Budget Bundle does not include a bag, so you may need to buy one separately for daily use.
