Quick answer
The Squig Desk Mat covers your whole keyboard area with Orky energy, while the Gloomspite Gitz Squig Mouse Mat focuses on precise mouse control with a smaller footprint. Choose based on your desk space and whether you want full coverage or targeted speed.
Size and coverage: full desk vs focused pad
The Squig Desk Mat is generously sized to fit both your keyboard and mouse, creating a unified surface for gaming or work. The Gloomspite Gitz Squig Mouse Mat is smaller and designed specifically for mouse movement, leaving the rest of your desk free for other items.
If you have a compact desk or prefer a minimalist look, the mouse mat saves space. If you want a consistent surface for your whole peripheral setup, the desk mat is the better choice.
Design and theme: Orks vs Gloomspite Gitz
Both mats feature bold squig designs, but the themes differ. The Squig Desk Mat draws from the red, snarling squigs of Warhammer 40,000, bringing Orky energy to your workspace. The Gloomspite Gitz Squig Mouse Mat channels gobbo mischief from the Mortal Realms with a vibrant, chaotic look.
Your choice here is about which faction or vibe resonates more with your personal style. Neither is better—just different flavors of Warhammer chaos.
