Quick answer

Choose the regular STARRY Lemon Lime drink mix if you want the classic sweet soda taste; pick the Zero Sugar version if you're cutting calories or sugar without giving up flavor.

What's different besides sugar?

The main difference between the two STARRY Lemon Lime drink mixes is the sweetener. The regular version uses sugar, giving it that familiar soda sweetness. The Zero Sugar version uses artificial sweeteners to deliver a sugar-free, zero-calorie experience. Both are made exclusively for SodaStream, so you can enjoy a personalized lemon lime soda at home.

Price and value

The regular STARRY Lemon Lime drink mix is priced at $18.55 for a 4-pack, while the Zero Sugar version costs $21.74. The Zero Sugar option is slightly more expensive, but if you're watching your sugar intake, the extra cost may be worth it. Both are priced below the catalog comparison price of $28.99, offering savings compared to buying equivalent store-bought sodas.

How to decide

  • If you want classic soda sweetness: Choose the regular STARRY Lemon Lime drink mix. It's sweetened with sugar, delivering the familiar taste of a traditional lemon lime soda.
  • If you're cutting sugar or calories: Go with the STARRY Lemon Lime Zero Sugar drink mix. It's sugar free and zero calorie, so you can enjoy the flavor without the extra intake. Check the nutrition label to confirm it fits your daily goals.
  • If you're on a budget: The regular version is about $3 cheaper per 4-pack, so it's the more economical choice if sugar isn't a concern. Consider buying in bulk if you use it often to maximize savings.
