Quick answer
The Stranger Things Top Trumps Quiz Card Game is a standalone trivia deck with 500 questions about the show's characters, villains, and lore, designed for fans who want a knowledge challenge rather than a stats-based card battle.
Who this quiz is for
This game is perfect for Stranger Things fans who know the show inside out. If you can name the season each character appears in or recall minor plot details, you'll enjoy the challenge. Casual viewers may find some questions tough, but the multiple-choice format helps keep the game moving.
It works well for family game night, parties, or as a travel-friendly activity. The compact card deck means you can play anywhere without a board or extra pieces.
What makes it different from classic Top Trumps
Unlike the classic Top Trumps decks that compare numerical stats, this quiz version tests your recall of the show. You won't find character ratings for strength or speed. Instead, each card presents a trivia question, and players score points by answering correctly. This shift makes it a pure knowledge game rather than a strategy or luck-based one.
If your group prefers competitive stat comparisons, the classic Top Trumps format might suit you better. But if you want to prove your fandom and learn new facts, this quiz deck delivers.
Frequently asked questions
How many players can join?
The game is designed for 2 or more players. There is no upper limit, but groups larger than 6 may want to form teams to keep turns quick. Plan for small groups or teams for the best experience.
Do I need to know every season?
Questions span all four seasons (as of the game's release). You'll encounter questions from Season 1 through Season 4. If you're only familiar with the early seasons, you may struggle with later content. Catch up on the latest seasons before playing for the best chance.
Is this game suitable for kids?
The questions are based on the show's content, which includes some mature themes. The trivia itself is not graphic, but familiarity with the show's darker moments is assumed. Parental discretion is advised for younger fans. Consider the child's exposure to the show before playing.
Can I play it as a standalone game?
Yes. This is a complete game in a single deck. You do not need any other Top Trumps products or accessories. The rules are included in the packaging. No extra purchases needed.
