Quick answer
Choose the Striped Crib Sheet for a classic, versatile look that pairs with any decor. Choose the Checkmate Crib Sheet if you want a playful, signature pattern that adds personality to the nursery.
Pattern and style differences
The Striped Crib Sheet features simple, timeless stripes that work with almost any nursery theme. The Checkmate Crib Sheet uses Pehr's signature checkered print for a bolder, more playful look. Both are screen printed using AZO free dyes, so the colors stay safe and vibrant.
Construction and fit are identical
Both sheets are made from GOTS certified 100% brushed organic cotton with a fully elasticized bottom. They fit standard crib mattresses up to 52" x 28" x 8". The only difference is the pattern, so your choice comes down to style preference.
Trade-offs to consider
- Style flexibility: The Striped Crib Sheet works with any nursery theme and is easier to mix with patterned blankets or mobiles. The Checkmate Crib Sheet is more of a statement piece.
- Pattern longevity: Stripes tend to feel classic and age well as your child grows. The checkered pattern may feel more tied to a specific nursery phase or theme.
- Price difference: The Striped Crib Sheet is priced at USD 28.60, while the Checkmate Crib Sheet is USD 27.28. The difference is minimal, so cost is unlikely to be the deciding factor.
