Quick answer
Choose the Deluxe Baby Bather for a simple, portable newborn bathing solution that works in any sink or tub; pick the Splish n Splash Tub if you want a single tub that grows with your baby from newborn to toddler.
Portability vs longevity
The Deluxe Baby Bather is lightweight and folds or stores easily, making it ideal for travel or small bathrooms where you need to pack it away after each bath. The Splish n Splash Tub is larger and stays set up, but it transitions through three stages: newborn sling, reclining support, and toddler play area, so you won't need to buy another tub for years.
Cleaning and maintenance
The Deluxe Baby Bather features machine-washable fabric, which is a huge time-saver after inevitable spit-ups or diaper blowouts. The Splish n Splash Tub is a hard plastic tub with a removable sling; you can wipe it down easily, but the sling itself may need spot-cleaning or hand-washing.
Decision rules
- Newborn-only bathing: If you only need a bath support for the first few months and plan to switch to a different tub later, the Deluxe Baby Bather is the simpler, lower-cost choice.
- Long-term value: If you want one product that lasts from newborn through toddlerhood, the Splish n Splash Tub covers all stages and costs less than buying two separate tubs. Check your bathroom storage: the Splish n Splash Tub needs more space than the bather.
- Space and portability: The Deluxe Baby Bather fits in a sink or standard tub and is easy to take on trips. The Splish n Splash Tub is larger and best kept in a dedicated bath area.
