Quick answer

Apply Tender Haven press-on nails with a clean, dry nail bed and a quality adhesive for a secure fit that lasts up to two weeks. Remove them safely by soaking in acetone or using a removal pen to avoid lifting or damaging your natural nails.

Why proper application matters for Tender Haven nails

Tender Haven nails feature a soft, romantic design with delicate floral accents and subtle rhinestones. A secure application ensures these details stay put and the nails last their full potential. Skipping prep steps can lead to early lifting, while improper removal can peel your natural nail layers.

Diagnosis: Common application & removal issues and solutions

  • Symptom: Nails lift or pop off within a day: Likely cause: Oily or dirty nail bed, or using too little adhesive. Corrective action: Gently buff the nail surface, wipe with alcohol, and apply a thin, even layer of glue or a high-quality adhesive tab. Press firmly for 30 seconds. Always prep nails with alcohol before applying.
  • Symptom: Nails feel loose or shift during wear: Likely cause: Wrong size for your nail bed. Corrective action: Test each nail size before applying adhesive. If a nail is too wide, it can snag; if too narrow, it won't seal. Choose the best fit from the available sizes. Match each nail to its corresponding natural nail for a snug fit.
  • Symptom: Natural nails feel thin or damaged after removal: Likely cause: Prying or peeling off the press-on nails. Corrective action: Soak nails in acetone-based remover or use a removal pen to dissolve the adhesive. Gently slide the nail off, never pull. If resistance remains, soak longer. Stop and soak more—never force a nail off.
