Quick answer

If you need a small Threshers item right now, skip the lanyard, keychain, and pin hunt and choose a practical piece instead. The Clearwater BeachDogs All Star Dog Large Leash at $17.01 and the OT Sports Women's Threshers Baseball Club Circle Tee at $15.60 are both verified in the current catalog and cost less than most collectible pins. Buy the leash for a dog-owning fan, or the tee for a fan who wants wearable gear.

Why lanyards, keychains, and pins are hard to recommend

Lanyards, keychains, and pins are the classic small fan gear categories, but they are also the hardest to buy well online. A lanyard is only useful if you carry an ID or keys daily. A keychain adds bulk to a pocket or bag. Pins are collectibles first and tools second, so their value depends on the specific design and whether you already collect baseball pin collectibles.

The bigger problem is availability. The current Clearwater Threshers Diamond Outfitters catalog does not list a dedicated lanyard, keychain, or pin product. That means any specific recommendation for those three categories would be guesswork. The honest move is to compare them on general trade-offs, then point you to small gear that is actually verified in the catalog.

How to choose when the exact item is not listed

Start with the recipient's daily routine. If they wear a badge to work, a lanyard is the only one of the three that solves a real problem. If they lose keys, a keychain helps. If they display items on a corkboard or lanyard string at home, a pin is the right format.

Then check the price band. Small gear usually competes with a cap or tee on price, so it only makes sense when it is clearly cheaper or clearly more personal. In this catalog, the OT Sports Women's Threshers Baseball Club Circle Tee is $15.60 and the Clearwater BeachDogs All Star Dog Large Leash is $17.01, both below the two New Era caps. If a lanyard or pin costs the same as a tee, the tee gives you more visible team spirit per dollar.

Two verified small-gear alternatives that work as gifts

The Clearwater BeachDogs All Star Dog Large Leash is the strongest small gift for a fan with a dog. It is officially licensed All Star Dogs merchandise, sized as a large leash, and priced at $17.01 against a $22.99 comparison price. It does one job well and gets used on every walk, which is more than most pins can claim.

The OT Sports Women's Threshers Baseball Club Circle Tee is the better pick for a fan without a dog. It is a 50% polyester, 50% cotton tee with a distressed Threshers Baseball Club circle logo, priced at $15.60 against a $26.00 comparison price. It is officially licensed Minor League Baseball apparel, so it carries the same team authenticity as a pin without the display-only limitation.

Trade-offs: lanyard vs keychain vs pin vs practical gear

  • Lanyard: Best if the fan wears an ID or badge daily; otherwise it sits in a drawer. No lanyard is currently listed in this catalog, so any purchase would be a special-order or third-party decision. Buy only if the recipient already uses a lanyard every day.
  • Keychain: Cheap and easy to hand out, but it adds bulk and is rarely noticed. It also competes on price with the $15.60 OT Sports Women's Threshers Baseball Club Circle Tee, which is more visible. Choose a keychain only when the fan specifically collects them.
  • Pin: The strongest choice for baseball pin collectibles because pins are display objects, not tools. The trade-off is that pins are personal, so a wrong design misses the mark more than a wrong tee size. Buy pins only for a known collector with a specific design in mind.
  • Verified practical gear: The Clearwater BeachDogs All Star Dog Large Leash at $17.01 and the OT Sports Women's Threshers Baseball Club Circle Tee at $15.60 are both in the current catalog and both get used regularly. Pick practical gear when you want a small Threshers gift that will not sit unused.

Catalog facts that matter for small gear

  • Clearwater BeachDogs All Star Dog Large Leash: Clearwater BeachDogs All Star Dog Large Leash, officially licensed All Star Dogs merchandise, catalog price USD 17.01 with a USD 22.99 comparison price. A leash is used daily, so it delivers more practical value than a display-only pin at a similar price.
  • Clearwater Threshers OT Sports Women's Threshers Baseball Club Circle Tee: OT Sports Women's Threshers Baseball Club Circle Tee, 50% polyester and 50% cotton, distressed logo, catalog price USD 15.60 with a USD 26.00 comparison price. The tee is the lowest-priced verified item in this comparison and gives visible team spirit, unlike a keychain that stays in a pocket.
  • Clearwater Threshers New Era 39THIRTY Clubhouse Shark Cap: New Era 39THIRTY Clubhouse Shark Cap, 100% polyester, flex fit, catalog price USD 26.63 with a USD 36.99 comparison price. This is the price ceiling for small gear: once a lanyard or pin approaches this cap price, the cap becomes the better buy.
