Quick answer

The tokidoki x ChikoRoko Adios 18" is a large collectible plush made from PE material, not a soft toy. It includes a QR code that unlocks a digital twin collectible. This unboxing guide walks you through the key steps to inspect, activate, and display your Adios figure.

What's in the box?

The tokidoki x ChikoRoko Adios 18" arrives in a branded box that clearly shows the character art. Inside, the plush is secured with minimal packaging to protect its shape. Because this is a collectible art piece (recommended for ages 8+), the PE material feels firm and structured rather than soft and huggable. Expect slight variations in paint or finish between figures due to the production process.

How to activate the digital twin

One standout feature is the included QR code that gives you a digital twin collectible. To activate it, locate the QR code on the hang tag or inside the packaging. Scan it with your smartphone camera or a QR reader app. Follow the on-screen prompts to claim your digital version. This is a one-time activation, so keep the code safe if you plan to gift the figure.

Unboxing steps

  1. Inspect the packaging and figure: Carefully open the box and remove the Adios plush. Check for any visible imperfections or variations in paint and finish. Remember, slight differences are normal for hand-finished collectibles. Don't expect perfection; minor variations are part of the charm.
  2. Scan the QR code for the digital twin: Find the QR code on the hang tag or insert. Use your phone's camera to scan it. Complete the registration or claim process to receive your digital collectible. Do this right away so you don't lose the code.
  3. Find the perfect display spot: Because Adios is 18 inches tall and made of PE, it stands well on shelves, desks, or in a dedicated collectible case. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight to prevent fading. A stable, dust-free surface keeps the figure looking its best.
