Quick Answer

The Maileg gold tooth box in small size is a charming metal heart tin designed to hold baby teeth or tiny treasures, with a crackled lid and embossed tooth detail.

Why Choose the Gold Finish?

The gold finish adds a warm, heirloom-like feel that stands out among typical tooth-keepsake containers. It coordinates easily with nursery decor or a child's room, and the metallic surface resists minor scratches better than painted alternatives.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many baby teeth fit in the small gold tooth box?

The small single tin (product ID 1283307) holds about 2–4 baby teeth comfortably, depending on size. The two-piece set (product ID 1283316) gives you a smaller inner tin that fits inside a larger outer tin, doubling your storage capacity.

Can I use the tooth box for things other than teeth?

Yes. The tin is sturdy enough for small treasures like charms, rings, or tiny notes. The crackled lid adds a decorative touch, making it suitable for display on a shelf or nightstand.

Is the gold finish safe for children?

The metal heart box is made from durable materials with a smooth finish. It does not have small parts that could break off, but it is a decorative keepsake item and should be used under adult supervision for very young children. Store the tin out of reach of toddlers to avoid any risk of swallowing small items.

Does the tooth box come with a Tooth Fairy Mouse?

No, the tooth box is sold separately. The fabric crescent moon (product ID 1283298) has a tiny pocket that can display a Tooth Fairy Mouse, but the gold tooth box itself does not include any figures.
