Quick answer
The Ultimate Newborn Mattress Gift Bundle combines a 2-in-1 crib mattress, a Swaddle Up™, a romper, a hooded towel, bibs, and burp cloths into one ready-to-gift set. Use it as a complete newborn starter kit that grows with your baby.
Why this bundle works as a complete gift
Instead of piecing together separate items, this bundle gives you a crib mattress that flips from ultra-firm infant to toddler side, plus coordinating soft goods. The mattress alone is a long-term investment, while the swaddle, romper, and accessories cover daily needs from day one.
Trade-offs to consider
The bundle includes one Swaddle Up™ and one romper, so you may want additional swaddles or outfits for rotations. The mattress is 2-in-1, but if you already own a crib mattress, you might prefer a smaller essentials-only set. The bundle is priced at a discount versus buying separately, but the upfront cost is higher than a basic newborn gift.
How to use each item in the bundle
- Gro Mattress (2-in-1): Use the ultra-firm side for babies 0–12 months. Flip to the toddler side when your child is ready. The water-resistant cover makes cleanup easy. Check the mattress label to confirm which side is infant vs. toddler before first use.
- Swaddle Up™ 1.0 TOG: The 1.0 TOG rating suits room temperatures around 68–75°F. The Turtally print is purely aesthetic; the swaddle's arms-up design allows self-soothing. Use it from birth until your baby shows signs of rolling. Layer a short-sleeve onesie under the swaddle in warmer rooms, or a long-sleeve one in cooler rooms.
- Romper Snug Fit (viscose from bamboo): Viscose from bamboo fabric is breathable and soft. Use it as a standalone outfit or under the swaddle. The snug fit helps contain the startle reflex without restricting leg movement. Wash before first use to maximize softness.
- Hooded Towel, Bib 2-Pack & Burp Cloth 2-Pack: The muslin hooded towel is lightweight and absorbent for bath time. Use the bibs during feeding and the burp cloths to protect your shoulder or the changing area. All are machine washable. Rotate bibs and burp cloths frequently—buy extras if you go through more than two per day.
