Quick answer
The Dr. Brown's Travel Bottle Warmer Adapter allows you to use the Dr. Brown's Travel Warmer with Tommee Tippee bottles for convenient on-the-go bottle warming.
Why you need a dedicated adapter
Tommee Tippee bottles have a different thread pattern than Dr. Brown's bottles, so the standard Travel Warmer won't attach directly. The adapter bridges that gap without leaking or overheating.
The adapter is compact and designed to twist onto the warmer first, then onto the bottle. This two‑step connection prevents spills when you flip the assembly over to start warming.
How to warm a Tommee Tippee bottle with the Dr. Brown's Travel Warmer
- Attach the adapter to the warmer: Twist the Dr. Brown's Travel Bottle Warmer Adapter clockwise onto the base of the Dr. Brown's Travel Warmer until it is snug. Do not overtighten. If the adapter feels loose, check that it is fully seated before moving to the next step.
- Connect the Tommee Tippee bottle: Screw the Tommee Tippee bottle onto the other end of the adapter. Ensure the nipple and cap are secure on the bottle before attaching. A common mistake is attaching the bottle to the adapter first — always start with the adapter on the warmer.
- Flip and select the temperature: Turn the assembled warmer‑adapter‑bottle upside down so the warmer is on top. Press the power button and choose your desired warming temperature. The bottle must be oriented downward for the warmer to function correctly. If it does not heat, flip it over.
- Remove and test the temperature: After warming, twist off the bottle and adapter together, then detach the adapter. Shake the bottle gently and test a few drops on your inner wrist. The adapter will be warm after use — let it cool before storing.
