Quick Answer
To use the Vestige Mob Box 5-6 Player Module, attach it to your core Vestige game, add the extra player tokens and cards, and adjust the player count rules as described in the module's instructions.
Why Use the Mob Box for Larger Groups
The Vestige Mob Box 5-6 Player Module lets you expand your Vestige game sessions to accommodate more players. It includes the necessary components to support a fifth and sixth player without unbalancing the core game. This is ideal for game nights where you have a larger group and want everyone to play together rather than splitting into separate games.
Setting Up the Vestige Mob Box 5-6 Player Module
- Attach the Module to Your Core Game: Place the Mob Box module next to your core Vestige game board. Ensure the module aligns with the existing board edges so that player movement and area rules flow seamlessly between the two. Common mistake: forcing the module into a gap or overlapping the core board – it should sit flush without bending.
- Add the Extra Player Tokens and Cards: Take the fifth and sixth player tokens, cards, and any unique starting equipment from the Mob Box. Distribute them to the additional players according to the module’s setup guide. Keep the core game’s card decks separate unless the module specifies mixing them. Check that each new player receives a full starting hand – missing a card can unbalance the early game.
- Adjust Player Count Rules: Review the module’s rule sheet for changes to turn order, scoring, or victory conditions when playing with 5 or 6 players. Some abilities or events may scale differently with more players. Make sure all players understand these adjustments before starting. A frequent oversight is skipping the rule adjustments – this can lead to confusion or unfair advantages mid-game.
