Quick Answer
The Viscounts Collector's Box holds Viscounts, Keeper of Keys, Gates of Gold, and all promo content, making it a complete storage solution for the game. It includes a plastic insert and the Crossover Promo Pack.
Why the Box Size Matters
The Collector's Box measures 297x297x69mm, which is slightly larger than the base game box. This extra space is designed to accommodate the expansions and promo cards without needing separate boxes. If you're tired of juggling multiple boxes, this consolidates everything into one tidy package.
What’s Included vs. What’s Not
The box comes with a plastic insert and the Crossover Promo Pack, but it does not include the base game or expansions themselves. You'll need to purchase those separately if you don't already own them. This is a storage solution, not a game bundle.
Decision Rules for the Viscounts Collector's Box
- Do you own the base game and expansions?: If you have Viscounts, Keeper of Keys, and Gates of Gold, this box is a worthwhile buy to keep everything together. If you only have the base game, the standard box may suffice. Check your collection before purchasing.
- Do you want the Crossover Promo Pack?: The box includes the Crossover Promo Pack, which is a bonus if you're a completionist. If you already have these promos, the box's value is purely organizational.
- Is shelf space a concern?: The box is 69mm tall, similar to other Garphill collector boxes. If you have limited shelf space, consolidating multiple boxes into one can free up room, but measure your shelf to ensure it fits. Measure your shelf height before buying.
