Quick Answer
The Bruder Man TGA Crane Truck (02754) offers realistic construction functions including a tilting cab, 360° swiveling crane, extendable boom, hand-crank winch, and four outriggers. It is designed for interactive play and basic load handling.
Realistic Functions That Make Play More Engaging
The Man TGA crane truck is not just a static model. Its tilting cab reveals a detailed engine block, and the mirrors fold out. These details add authenticity for kids who enjoy truck maintenance or repair role-play.
The crane features a rotary wheel to extend the arm hydraulically, and a hand crank operates the functional cable winch. A release button allows quick lowering of loads—great for fast-paced construction scenes.
What Comes in the Box?
In the box you will find the Man TGA truck, a detachable crane assembly, four outriggers, a hook, and a hand crank. The truck is typically pre-assembled except for the outriggers and crane. Assembly is simple and does not require tools.
The set does not include loads like pallets or blocks—these can be purchased separately for expanded play.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the crane lift heavy loads?
The crane is designed for toy loads only, like small blocks or plastic pallets. It uses a hand crank winch and a hook; it is not rated for real weight. Avoid overloading to prevent damage.
How do the outriggers work?
Each outrigger slides out laterally and can be positioned downward to simulate real stabilization. This helps keep the truck steady during crane play.
Is the truck compatible with other Bruder vehicles?
Yes, the Man TGA crane truck is part of the Bruder pro-series. It works well with other Bruder trucks, trailers, and playsets, though it does not come with a standard trailer hitch.
What is the recommended age?
The set is recommended for ages 4 and up due to small parts. Younger children should play under adult supervision.
