Quick answer
A mystery box or lucky dip is a surprise bundle of clothing or accessories where you know the material and size but not the exact items. You typically receive pieces worth more than the price paid.
What’s the difference between a mystery box and a lucky dip?
The terms are often used interchangeably, but here the women's mystery box lets you choose between PVC or latex material and garment type, while the men's lucky dip is simpler — you pick a size and receive a random PVC item. Both offer a surprise, but the women's version gives more control over the style direction.
Is the value really there?
Yes, in most cases. The women's mystery box has a catalog price of $91.50 compared to a $150.00 value, and the men's lucky dip is $28.80 against a $40.00 value. You save roughly 28% to 39% off the combined retail price of the items inside.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose what I get?
No, the whole point is the surprise. You select the material and size (and for the women's box, the type category), but the exact items are picked by the team.
What if I don't like what I receive?
Because the contents are a surprise, returns are generally not accepted for mystery boxes or lucky dips. Check the store's specific return policy before ordering. Only buy if you're comfortable with the risk of receiving something that isn't your usual style.
Is this a good gift idea?
Yes, especially if you know the person's size and material preference but want to keep the exact pieces a surprise. The women's mystery box works well for someone who already enjoys PVC or latex, while the men's lucky dip is a fun low-cost gamble for a friend. Pair it with a note that explains the value guarantee so the recipient knows it's not just random leftovers.
