Quick answer

Red Archons is a 2025 Black Friday limited edition with red gilding, cold foil on both card faces and backs, and a luxury tuckbox—making it a distinct collectible within the Archons series.

Why Red Archons matters for collectors

The Archons series, also known as "Archangels," draws on divine mythology, but each release offers a unique visual identity. Red Archons breaks from earlier editions with its bold red gilding and full cold foil application on both faces and backs—a feature not present in all Archon decks.

Limited to just 500 copies, this deck appeals to collectors who value scarcity and a cohesive design theme. The luxury tuckbox adds a premium feel, making it suitable for display or as a centerpiece in a themed collection.

Trade-offs to consider

Because Red Archons was a Black Friday release, it may not be available at its original price. The catalog comparison price of USD 95.00 versus the current USD 59.85 reflects a discount, but availability is limited to remaining stock.

The red gilding and cold foil are visually striking but may show wear with frequent handling. If you intend to use the deck for cardistry or magic, consider a more durable, non-gilded option from the Archons series.

Red Archons FAQ

What makes Red Archons different from other Archon decks?

Red Archons features red gilding and cold foil on both card faces and backs, while many earlier Archon decks use standard foil or gilding only on edges. The luxury tuckbox also sets it apart.

How many Red Archons decks were produced?

Only 500 copies were made, making it one of the scarcest releases in the Archons series. If you find one, consider purchasing quickly—stock is limited.

Is Red Archons suitable for card handling or just display?

The red gilding and cold foil are durable for light handling, but the deck is best suited for display or careful collection. Frequent shuffling may wear the gilding. For regular use, look for a non-gilded Archon deck.

What is the story behind the Archons theme?

The Archons, also called "Archangels," are divine beings whose true nature remains mysterious. Mortals call upon them for favor. Red Archons continues this mythic theme with a bold red palette.

Where can I buy Red Archons?

Red Archons is available through Thirdway Industries while stock lasts. The current price is USD 59.85, down from a catalog comparison price of USD 95.00. Check the store for remaining inventory—once sold out, no more will be produced.
