Quick answer
Each Mystery Loot contains a 7-piece plastic RPG dice set and one random metal die, with over 25 possible plastic set styles and 20+ metal die styles. You get a complete matching set plus a bonus die, but the exact colors and metal type are a surprise.
What you actually get vs. what you might hope for
The plastic set is always a full 7-piece set (D4, D6, D8, D10, D10%, D12, D20) in a matching color scheme. The metal die is a single random die from any of those seven shapes, in one of over 20 enamel or metal finishes.
Because the styles are random, you might get a set that matches your favorite character or one that feels totally off-theme. That's the trade-off: variety and surprise over predictability.
The metal die is a genuine bonus, not a cheap add-on. It's a functional RPG die you can use alongside the plastic set or as a standalone piece.
Frequently asked questions about Mystery Loot dice boxes
Is the plastic set always a full set?
Yes. Every Mystery Loot includes a complete 7-piece RPG dice set (D4, D6, D8, D10, D10%, D12, D20) in a matching color scheme. You never get mismatched or incomplete sets.
Can I choose the color or style?
No. The entire point is the surprise. You get a random plastic set from over 25 possible styles and a random metal die from over 20 styles. If you need a specific color for a character, this isn't the product for that. If you need a specific color scheme, buy a standard dice set instead.
Is the metal die worth it?
Yes. The metal die is a functional RPG die, not a novelty. It can be any of the seven dice shapes and comes in a variety of enamel finishes. It adds real value beyond the plastic set alone.
How likely am I to get a duplicate if I buy multiple boxes?
With over 25 plastic set styles and 20+ metal die styles, duplicates are possible but not guaranteed. The variety is large enough that you're unlikely to get the exact same combination twice in a row, but it can happen. If you're collecting, expect occasional duplicates. If you want a matched set, buy one box.
Is this a subscription box?
No. Mystery Loot is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You buy the box, open it, and get your dice. There's no recurring charge or monthly delivery.
