How to use the Willow 360 Container Set for storage and pouring
- Attach the container to your pump: Screw the Willow 360 Container onto the pump flange just as you would a storage bag. Make sure it's hand-tight to avoid leaks during pumping. A common mistake is over-tightening, which can crack the threading. Check that the container is snug but not forced.
- Pump and monitor fill level: Pump as usual. The container holds up to 4 oz (120 ml) per side. Stop pumping when milk reaches the fill line to avoid overflow. A common mistake is filling past the line, which makes pouring messy and can cause spills when you disconnect the container. Stop at the fill line for clean removal.
- Remove and seal the container: Unscrew the container from the pump flange. Immediately screw on the included storage lid (sold separately or included with the set) to create a spill-proof seal. A common mistake is setting the container down without the lid, risking a tip-over and lost milk. Lid the container right after pumping.
- Pour milk from the container: To pour, remove the lid and tilt the container over your bottle or bag. The wide mouth allows a smooth pour without splashing.
