Quick answer
The Wyrmspan Acrylic Token Upgrade replaces the game's cardboard tokens with 3mm acrylic versions in four types—Meat, Gold, Milk, and Crystal—while maintaining the same footprint to fit the original box.
Why upgrade from cardboard?
Cardboard tokens can wear, bend, or get marked over repeated plays. Acrylic tokens are more durable, resistant to spills, and have a satisfying heft that many players prefer. The upgrade set keeps the same size as the originals, so storage and gameplay are unchanged.
What's not included?
This set only includes the four token types listed—other game components like player boards, cards, or plastic pieces are not part of the upgrade. The tokens are 3mm thick, same as standard cardboard, so they won't add bulk to the box.
Frequently asked questions
How many tokens are in the set?
The set includes 25 each of Meat (transparent red), Gold (transparent yellow), Milk (transparent white), and Crystal (transparent clear) tokens—100 total.
Do the tokens fit in the original game box?
Yes. At 3mm thick, they take up about the same space as the cardboard tokens. You won't need a separate organizer to store them. Check that your box insert has compartments for these token sizes; most do.
Are the tokens compatible with expansions?
This set is designed for the base game of Wyrmspan. Expansion tokens may differ in color or quantity, so verify compatibility before purchasing if you own expansions.
How do acrylic tokens compare to cardboard in feel?
Acrylic tokens are heavier, smoother, and less prone to edge fraying. They slide easily in token trays and remain readable after many plays.
Can I use these with other games?
Physically possible, but token colors are tailored to Wyrmspan's resource system. For other games, check if the color-coding and quantities match your needs.
