Quick answer
Use the Dapple Baby Pump Cleaning Kit to clean your Willow 3.0 and Willow Go pump parts on the go. The kit includes plant-based cleaner, brush, and drying mat for thorough hygiene.
Why the Dapple Baby Kit works for Willow pumps
The Dapple Baby Pump Cleaning Kit is designed exclusively for Willow pumps, making it a convenient all-in-one solution. It includes a plant-based cleaner that removes tough breast milk residue, a brush for hard-to-reach parts, and a drying mat to keep everything organized.
Using a dedicated cleaning kit ensures you avoid cross-contamination from household sponges or brushes. The plant-based formula is gentle on silicone parts and safe for frequent use.
How to clean your pump parts with the Dapple Baby Kit
- Rinse parts immediately after pumping: Disassemble your Willow 3.0 or Willow Go pump and rinse all parts (excluding tubing and motor) under cool running water. This removes initial milk residue and prevents drying. Common mistake: letting milk dry on parts makes cleaning harder. Rinse within 30 minutes.
- Apply Dapple Baby Dish Soap and scrub: Squeeze a small amount of Dapple Baby Dish Soap onto the included brush or a soft cloth. Scrub each part thoroughly, paying special attention to silicone flanges and backflow protectors where milk residue hides. Checkpoint: avoid using abrasive sponges that can scratch silicone surfaces.
- Rinse and dry on the mat: Rinse all parts with clean water until no soap remains. Place them on the Dapple Baby Drying Mat to air dry completely. The mat absorbs moisture and keeps parts elevated for airflow. Common mistake: stacking wet parts traps moisture. Spread them out for even drying.
