Quick answer
The Combat Zone: Maelstrom Starter Gang StandUpz set includes acrylic standees of the Maelstrom faction for Cyberpunk RED Combat Zone, ready to use right out of the box.
What makes these standees different from painted miniatures
Unlike resin-printed miniatures that require assembly and painting, these StandUpz are pre-printed acrylic pieces with full-color art. You get the look of the gang without any hobby work. The trade-off is that they lack the 3D sculpted detail of a miniature and are flat profiles, which some players prefer for speed and consistency.
Frequently asked questions
How many standees come in the Maelstrom Starter Gang set?
The set includes a full gang of acrylic StandUpz featuring the Maelstrom faction. The exact count is not listed, but it is designed to provide enough standees for a starter gang in Cyberpunk RED Combat Zone.
Are the standees pre-assembled?
Yes. Each standee is a flat acrylic piece with a clear plastic base. You just snap the figure into the base and it's ready for the tabletop. No glue, no painting.
Can I use these with painted miniatures?
Absolutely. The scale and base size are compatible with standard Combat Zone play. You can mix acrylic standees with resin miniatures on the same board without issues. If you already have painted miniatures, these standees can fill out your gang roster quickly.
Do the standees come with game stats or cards?
No. The set includes only the acrylic standees and their bases. You'll need the Cyberpunk RED Combat Zone core rules or a faction sheet to use them in a game. Check the Combat Zone core rules for Maelstrom gang stats before your first session.
How do these compare to the Lawmen - Officer miniature?
The Maelstrom StandUpz are flat, pre-printed acrylic profiles. The Lawmen - Officer is a 3D resin miniature that you paint yourself. Choose StandUpz for speed and consistency, or the miniature for hobby detail. For a complete ready-to-play gang, the StandUpz set is the quicker choice.
